University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has officially announced detailed information for undergraduate admissions (Cohort 52 - 2026). The admissions plan includes 2 methods and introduces 8 new programs in technology and applied computing, aligned with the international market, with a strong focus on English-taught and dual-degree programs in partnership with leading global universities.
In 2026, UEH enrolls students under 02 institution codes corresponding to 02 campuses: KSA (Ho Chi Minh City) with 8,240 quotas and KSV (UEH Mekong - Vinh Long) with 650 quotas, with all UEH Mekong students will undertake their final year in Ho Chi Minh City.
UEH applies 02 admission methods in 2026 (Institution codes: KSA and KSV):
Method 1 - Direct Admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (5% of quotas)
Eligible applicants include: Heroes of Labor/Armed Forces, National Emulation Fighters; candidates winning First-Second-Third prizes in national/international excellent student competitions (within 3 years); winners of national/international science and technology competitions; foreign applicants; Vietnamese students studying abroad who graduated from foreign high schools; applicants from very small ethnic minority groups; applicants with severe disabilities.
In which:
+ For foreign applicants graduating from high school or equivalent, UEH considers direct admission under two categories: (i) Non-agreement applicants assessed based on academic results, language proficiency, and aspirations; (ii) Agreement-based applicants following current MOET regulations.
+ For Vietnamese applicants graduating from overseas high schools or studying foreign education programs in Vietnam, direct admission requires: (i) academic performance equivalent to “Good” for grades 10–12; and (ii) a valid international English certificate with a minimum IELTS 5.5 (or TOEFL iBT 62, or TOEIC 4 skills 670 with Speaking ≥140 and Writing ≥140).
Method 2 - Integrated Admission (95% of quotas)
Admission score calculation is designed for each applicant group:
- Applicants graduating from a Vietnamese high school or vocational secondary programs

- Average GPA calculation from High School Grades = (Grade 10 GPA × 1 + Grade 11 GPA × 2 + Grade 12 GPA × 3) / 6

a) Applicants eligible for direct admission but who do not use this entitlement in accordance with Points a and b, Clause 2, Article 8 of the current Regulations on university and college-level (Early Childhood Education) admissions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

UEH Training programs and formats in 2026
In 2026, UEH offers 82 programs at KSA and 15 programs at KSV across 12 fields such as Business and Management, Law, Mathematics and Statistics, Computer Science and IT, Applied Engineering Technology, Architecture and Construction, Tourism and Hospitality, Transport Services, Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, etc.
UEH launches 08 new programs: International Political Economy; Logistics Technology integrated with FIATA certification (engineering); Architectural and Urban Design for Inclusive Smart City (Architect); Law; International Trade Law; Intelligent Manufacturing (engineering); Smart Mobility and Operations Management; and Honors Bachelor - Technology (AI for Business).
Training formats at UEH include: Standard programs (Vietnamese, internationally accredited); Partial English programs; Full English programs; ISB Honours’ Bachelor programs; Asia Co-op programs; International dual-degree programs; Integrated double majors; Exchange and international linkage programs; Programs integrated with international professional certifications. In line with its internationalization-oriented training strategy, this year UEH has reduced its intake for Vietnamese-language programs while expanding fully English-taught programs and international dual-degree programs, which are admitted through a separate selection process from the outset.

Tuition policy at UEH
UEH applies a credit-based tuition mechanism, allowing students to proactively plan for early graduation in line with their individual capabilities. At UEH, credit tuition rates vary based on several criteria: the field of study, whether the program holds international quality accreditation, the language of instruction, program duration, and campus location (Ho Chi Minh City or Vinh Long). Scholarship Policy for Cohort 52 - 2026 Admissions
In 2026, UEH has allocated a total scholarship budget of tens of billions of VND to attract and support outstanding new students, students facing financial difficulties, and international students, applicable at both campuses: KSA (Ho Chi Minh City) and KSV (UEH Mekong - Vinh Long).
*At KSA (Ho Chi Minh City)
- Admissions scholarships for Vietnamese applicants with high admission scores, with a total budget of 7.56 billion VND, comprising 570 scholarships:
+ 50 Excellence scholarships (27,000,000 VND/scholarship)
+ 170 Full scholarships (18,000,000 VND/scholarship)
+ 350 Partial scholarships (9,000,000 VND/scholarship)
- Priority scholarships by field: applied to 50% of admitted students in Computer Science - Information Technology, Engineering Technology (Smart Manufacturing, Logistics Technology - Engineering Track, FIATA Integrated Logistics Technology), Architecture - Construction, and Transport Services, with 50% full scholarships and 50% partial scholarships.
- Financial support scholarships for students facing difficulties, with a total budget of 1.8 billion VND:

- International student scholarships: 100% tuition waiver for the entire program, free dormitory accommodation, support for Vietnamese language preparatory program tuition (including B2 certificate exam fees for Vietnamese-medium or partially English-medium programs, or 3-6 months of preparatory study for fully English-medium programs), along with a monthly living allowance of 2,600,000 VND during official semesters.
*At KSV (UEH Mekong - Vinh Long)
- Admissions scholarships for Vietnamese applicants, with a total budget of 486 million VND, comprising 56 scholarships:
+ 5 Excellence scholarships (18,000,000 VND/scholarship)

- Priority scholarships for strategic programs: applicable to students in Technology & Innovation, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (engineering track), and Agricultural Business. Students from Vinh Long, Can Tho, An Giang, Dong Thap, Ca Mau, and Tay Ninh provinces who meet the "Excellent" admission criteria receive a 100% tuition waiver for the first semester; other students in this group receive 50% tuition support.
- Financial support scholarships for students facing difficulties, with a total budget of 120 million VND:

- International student scholarships: 100% tuition waiver for the entire program, free dormitory accommodation throughout the entire study period (including the rotation period in Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnamese language preparatory tuition support, an initial support allowance of 3,000,000 VND per student, and a monthly living allowance of 2,541,000 VND during official study periods.
